The Arecibo response is a mysterious crop circle which appeared in farmland next to the Chilbolton radio telescope where the famous Arecibo message was sent into space in 1974.[1]

Oddly enough, the crop circle which appeared looked identical to the picture of the message that was sent into space. However in place of the human was the shape of a humanoid creature, and the dot pattern of population had been changed to thirteen billion. No known crop circle hoaxers have attempted to repeat the image.[1]
